Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Product Supply Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end supply logistics, managing inventory, and coordinating with traders, optimizers, and refineries.
Key Responsibilities- Forecast and plan supply schedules in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Use commercial judgment and problem-solving skills to solve operational problems
- Partner with trading and optimization to identify and capture market opportunities
- Develop and execute schedules for movement of product via pipeline, marine, rail, and/or truck
- Manage inventory to agreed targets, while maintaining reliability to refinery, marketing, and third-party customers
- Support development and implementation of cost-effective solutions to planned and unplanned supply disruptions
- Develop a deep understanding of optimization, logistics, market conditions, operational costs, and contract terms
- Ensure adherence to credit guidelines, regulatory, and quality compliance, and transportation policies
- Serve as a key interface between accounting and the business line, ensuring third parties are paid accurately and timely
- Experience in scheduling or coordinating bulk liquids or gas movements
- Refining, pipeline, or chemicals operations experience
- Experience in SAP, Analysis for Office, and/or Tableau is a plus
- Knowledge of rail operations considered an asset
- Able and willing to respond to after-hours calls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and concern for accuracy
- Customer-focused and have the ability to build relationships
