Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Specialist to manage general ledger, monthly close, and reporting functions for two entities within a growing real estate investment portfolio. This role will play a key part in producing timely financial reports, maintaining accounting accuracy, and supporting internal and external stakeholders with clean, actionable data.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and reconcile general ledgers for two entities. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements. Manage bank reconciliations and cash flow tracking. Deliver internal reports for leadership and property managers. Assist with lender and investor reporting as needed. Ensure timely data entry and journal entries in QuickBooks or equivalent software. Support audit preparation and year-end close processes.
Qualifications: Strong accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP accounting. 3+ years of professional accounting experience. Proficiency with QuickBooks (or equivalent accounting software). Strong Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, reconciliations). Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Strong understanding of accounting workflows and reporting.
