Job Responsibilities:

The System Engineer role at Vialto Partners involves designing, implementing, and maintaining complex systems or networks. Key responsibilities include developing system architecture diagrams, integrating novel systems into existing infrastructure, and championing system and data security.

  1. Develop comprehensive system architecture diagrams, considering performance, scalability, reliability, and security factors.
  2. Configure and set up systems, installing essential software, and integrating components upon design completion. This involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and departments.
  3. Seamlessly integrate novel systems into existing infrastructure, ensuring compatibility between new components or technologies and current systems, facilitating smooth data flow.
  4. Maintain vigilance regarding system operation, addressing issues through proactive maintenance, applying updates, patching vulnerabilities, and resolving technical challenges.
  5. Diligently monitor system and network performance, swiftly detecting and resolving anomalies to maintain optimal functionality.
  6. Implement stringent security measures, conduct regular security audits, and stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats and best practices.
  7. Promote meticulous documentation practices, capturing system configurations, processes, and procedures in detail for future reference and training purposes.
  8. Cultivate close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software developers, network administrators, and IT support staff, to achieve shared goals and tackle technical challenges efficiently.
  9. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex technical issues quickly and precisely.
  10. Stay up-to-date with technological advancements and trends, enabling informed recommendations and seamless implementation of system upgrades or changes to maintain competitiveness and security.
  11. Adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards, particularly in highly regulated sectors such as healthcare or finance.
  12. Develop and maintain robust disaster recovery plans and backup strategies, safeguarding data integrity and ensuring system availability in response to unforeseen events or failures.
Key Requirements:
  • Experience in service management, understanding customer needs, service delivery, and governance against service levels.
  • End-User Support: Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting Operating Systems, Office Applications, VPNs, and network connectivity. Experience with Microsoft O365, OneDrive, SharePoint, and digital certificates.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring technical teams, driving innovation, and achieving business objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Extensive experience in diagnosing and resolving issues.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills to manage user requests, service interruptions, and collaborate with specialized teams.
