Magi-K is currently hiring a Telephone Interpreter - Haitian Creole to English speaker to join our team of professionals.

This is a freelance contract position that requires you to work independently from your home office.

You will be responsible for providing accurate and clear interpretation services over the phone, assisting non-English speakers in various activities, and complying with applicable ethics and standards.

To be successful in this role, you should have a native level of proficiency in Haitian Creole and a B2/C1 level in English. Experience in interpretation and a willingness to learn and grow both professionally and personally are also highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing Over-the-Phone Interpretation Services
  • Imparting Thought, Purpose, Spirit, Emotions, and Tone of Speakers from Source Language into Target Language
  • Complying with Applicable Ethics and Standards

Requirements:

  • Windows 10 or Newer Computer with Pentium or I3 Processor
  • Minimum 4 GB RAM (8 GB Recommended)
  • Stable and Fast Internet Connection with Internet Speed of 4 Mbps Download/Upload
