Job Title: WordPress Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to join our team at LatamCent. As a WordPress Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of WordPress sites, enhancing their functionality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Custom WordPress Themes and Plugins: You will design and develop custom WordPress themes and plugins to meet client specifications, ensuring that they are tailored to their unique needs.
  • Optimize WordPress Sites for Speed and Performance: You will optimize WordPress sites for speed, performance, and SEO, ensuring that they are fast, secure, and user-friendly.
  • Integrate APIs and Third-Party Services: You will integrate APIs and third-party services to enhance site functionality, providing a seamless user experience.
  • Maintain and Update Existing WordPress Sites: You will maintain and update existing WordPress sites, ensuring that they are compatible with the latest technologies and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Design Teams: You will work closely with design teams to ensure that front-end elements integrate seamlessly, providing a cohesive user experience.
  • Troubleshoot and Resolve Issues: You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to site performance, security, and functionality, ensuring that sites are always up and running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • 3+ Years of Experience in WordPress Development: You will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in WordPress development, with a strong understanding of WordPress architecture and best practices.
  • Proficiency in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS, and HTML: You will be proficient in PHP, JavaScript, MySQL, CSS, and HTML, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
  • Strong Understanding of WordPress Architecture: You will have a strong understanding of WordPress architecture, including themes, plugins, and the development lifecycle.
  • Experience with API Integrations and Custom Plugin Development: You will have experience with API integrations and custom plugin development, with the ability to integrate third-party services and create custom plugins.
  • Familiarity with Responsive Design and Cross-Browser Compatibility: You will be familiar with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility, with the ability to ensure that sites are accessible and user-friendly across different devices and browsers.
  • Excellent Problem-Solving Skills and Attention to Detail: You will have excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
  • Strong Communication Skills and Ability to Work Remotely: You will have strong communication skills and the ability to work remotely, with the ability to collaborate with team members and clients across different time zones.

Hourly Rate:

  • $7.50/hr: You will be paid an hourly rate of $7.50/hr, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses.
