Job Title: Data Engineer

ExxonMobil Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes within our corporate network and from external providers.

About the Role
  • Design and implement ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
  • Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements and develop solutions.
  • Provide support for data platforms handling structured, unstructured, raw, and processed data.
  • Develop business intelligence dashboards and reports to visualize large data sets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
  • Proven experience with programming languages specific to Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, such as Python and SQL.
  • Proficiency with ETL tools, demonstrating the ability to efficiently manage data workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL, including design, query optimization, and data manipulation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Solid understanding of data modeling concepts.
  • Prior experience with major cloud vendors.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Data Factory.
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence reporting tools, such as SpotFire, PowerBI, or Tableau.
