Job Duties
In this role, you'll be responsible for improving monitoring and elevating the quality, performance, and resilience of our products. You'll engage in the entire lifecycle of services, from inception and design through deployment, operation, refinement, and end-of-life.
You'll support services before they go live through system design advising, developing software platforms and frameworks, capacity planning, and launch reviews. Once live, you'll maintain services by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
You'll develop and maintain automation applications, scripts, and CI/CD workflows to automate operational tasks, reduce manual intervention, minimize errors, and improve efficiency.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
- Ability to debug, optimize, and propose changes to application code, including improving scalability, resilience, and monitoring.
- Deep understanding of monitoring concepts and methodologies for distributed systems.
- Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with effective communication and collaboration skills and a sense of drive.
- Knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
