We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Engineer to join our team at Avature. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, and AWS.
- Collaborate with development teams to provide the necessary tools and environments for service deployment and operation.
- Evolve and maintain environments managed by the Cloud Services organization.
- Participate in defining standards with a DevOps/SRE mindset and promote them.
- Design and automate complex operations to scale in distributed datacenters around the world.
- Enable developers to take ownership of their code and be accountable for its operability.
- Advanced Linux administration knowledge.
- Superior analytical/troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of automation: configuration management (e.g. Puppet), observability, Bash.
- Infrastructure-as-code knowledge (e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Software development skills (e.g. Python) are a plus.
- Cloud administration and containerization experience with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and OpenStack are a big plus.
- Knowledge (or willingness to learn) infrastructure management technologies (Packer, Terraform, LXD, KVM, etc.)
