About the Position:
We are seeking an experienced Accounting professional to join our team as an Accounting Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing initiation and monitoring of accounting procedures performed in departments throughout the credit union.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform variance analysis for monthly closing and preliminary financial statement preparation.
- Develop, maintain, and implement department procedures in coordination with the Controller.
- Provide leadership to staff through effective objective setting, delegation, and communication.
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 5-7 years' experience in accounting, preferably in a credit union or financial institution.
- At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
