Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our dynamic team in Buenos Aires. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in driving our data-driven initiatives and designing, maintaining, and optimizing ETL/ELT processes to facilitate seamless data transfer between production field data and corporate repositories.
Key Responsibilities- Design, maintain, and implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes within the corporate network and from external providers.
- Leverage cutting-edge tools to manipulate large data volumes, including streaming data processes.
- Provide support for a data platform handling structured, unstructured, raw, and processed data.
- Develop business intelligence dashboards and reports that visualize large data sets according to customer requirements and needs.
- Interface with various customers at production fields to troubleshoot communications, application issues, and integrations to tools and their related data.
- Bachelor's degree or close to graduating in Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computing Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or similar.
- Advanced English skills, verbal and written communication.
- Proven experience with programming languages specific to Data Engineering and Business Intelligence, such as Python and SQL.
- Proficiency with ETL tools, demonstrating the ability to efficiently manage data workflows.
- Hands-on experience with SQL, including design, query optimization, and data manipulation.
- Ability to develop and deliver Business Intelligence reports that provide actionable insights and meet the strategic needs of the business.
- Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards continuous professional development and learning.
- Solid understanding of data modeling concepts is highly desirable.
- Prior experience with any major cloud vendor.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Explorer, and Azure Data Factory, is particularly valuable.
- Knowledge of any Business Intelligence reporting tool (e.g., SpotFire, PowerBI, Tableau) is beneficial.
