Job Responsibilities
- Handle first-responder duties for support and alerts, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
- Perform ticket work, including provisioning, configuration, DDL, and DML, to maintain the integrity and performance of our MongoDB databases.
- Support the Queue and Streaming team in various efforts aimed at delivering cost reductions, leveraging your expertise in MongoDB and related technologies.
- Migrate our databases to AMQ (Amazon Messaging Queue) to enhance scalability and reliability.
- Decommission AWS EC2 instances to optimize resource utilization and reduce costs.
- Resizing of clusters to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Consolidate QA processes to improve the overall quality of our software solutions.
Requirements
- 3 years of experience working with MongoDB, with a strong understanding of its features and capabilities.
- MongoDB Atlas experience, with knowledge of its benefits and best practices.
- Terraform expertise, with the ability to design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Upper intermediate English language proficiency, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Python scripting skills, with experience in developing automation scripts and tools.
