**Mitsubishi Chemical Group Account Manager Job Description**

We are seeking a skilled Business Development Professional to join our team as an Account Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to grow existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:

- Managing and further positioning Gelest technical and scientific products to develop new opportunities in technical and specialty chemical markets

- Developing strategic plans to grow accounts and support delivery of the business plan

- Taking ownership of business development and account activities, including customer ownership in cross-functional team activities

- Working closely with other regions (account managers) to leverage best practices and communicate effectively to the Gelest Commercial network

- Establishing and developing relationships with not yet identified prospects and potential customers in both existing and new markets

What You Need to Succeed:

To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as market/customer orientation, reliability, self-initiative, and action-oriented mindset. You will also need to be able to think and act in a strategic and tactical way, with experience in negotiating and working in an international team.
