Junior Technician

Position Overview

The Technician Apprentice role is designed for individuals eager to develop their skills in a dynamic workshop environment. This position involves assisting with various workshop tasks while engaging in both practical and theoretical training.

Key Responsibilities

• Support general workshop operations and participate in structured training programs.
• Engage in cleaning, inspecting, and disassembling equipment as part of routine maintenance activities.
• Learn and apply Standard Repair Times (SRTs) while adhering to established procedures and guidelines for basic repairs.
• Assist in completing necessary documentation, including work records and time sheets, through both manual and digital systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring tools are properly stored and operational.
• Adhere to all Health, Safety & Environmental regulations, promptly reporting any incidents to supervisors.

Experience

• Some exposure to workshop environments or foundational mechanical knowledge.
• Involvement in engine maintenance and preparation for painting processes.
• Collaboration with experienced technicians on engine evaluations and repairs.
