Job Summary

VitalAire Canada Inc. is seeking a skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our financial team, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of CAPEX projects, from approval to closure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and create CAPEX projects to ensure they meet the necessary approvals and adhere to our company's capital policy.
  • Maintain and prepare existing dashboards and reporting tools to provide critical insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with regional teams to evaluate capital investment opportunities and optimize financial performance.
  • Support strategic decision-making by providing data analysis and publishing financial reports.
  • Perform routine General Ledger reviews and Journal Entries to ensure accurate capitalization of costs.
  • Develop strong relationships with divisional and regional teams to drive process improvements and enhance data utilization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related field.
  • Two to five years of financial reporting and analysis experience.
  • Knowledge of industrial companies and familiarity with financial statements and investment decision concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, as well as Excel, SAP, and PowerBI.
