About the Role:
This position requires a highly skilled Senior Accounting Analyst to provide Center-based accounting services to local offices while adhering to global policies and standard procedures. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process journal entries in SAP for designated entities/regions within SLAs.
- Conduct thorough account reconciliations and address any discrepancies promptly.
- Execute period-end tasks according to established financial close schedules.
- Provide support for In-Market queries and perform necessary accounting adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal teams to facilitate smooth financial audit processes.
- Continuously enhance and refine existing processes.
Necessary Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certifications: CPA or equivalent; experience with SAP is a significant advantage.
- Professional background: Relevant experience in professional services or shared service centers.
- Linguistic skills: Excellent English fluency; Spanish language proficiency required.
- Analytical skills: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Business acumen: Comprehensive knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and general accounting principles.
- Soft skills: Effective time management, organizational abilities, and adaptability.
