We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Thegradcafe. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the delivery of excellent medical services.
About the Role:
- Direct Patient Care: You will be responsible for assessing patients' physical and emotional needs, developing individualized care plans, and implementing treatments to promote optimal health outcomes.
- Patient Education: You will educate patients on self-care techniques, disease management, and treatment options to empower them to take an active role in their healthcare.
- Collaboration with Healthcare Team: You will work closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, communicate effectively, and ensure seamless transitions between healthcare settings.
Requirements:
- Education: A graduate degree from an accredited nursing program is required.
- Certification/Licenses: Current RN licensure in New Mexico or a Compact state license is mandatory. BLS certification is also required within two weeks of hire date. ACLS and PALS certifications must be obtained within six months of hire date.
- Experience: Previous experience in PACU, ambulatory care, critical care, or general nursing is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Physical Demands: May be expected to lift up to 50 pounds or up to 150 pounds with assistance. May be expected to push or pull 150-300 pounds with assistance.
- Visual and Auditory Acuity: Essential for performing designated duties required.
- Manual Dexterity: Involving the handling of equipment and instruments or needles is essential.
