Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing computed tomographic procedures, including biopsies as requested by physicians. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform computed tomographic procedures, including biopsies as requested by physicians
  • Collaborate with radiologists to develop and implement protocols
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and exam rooms to ensure optimal condition
  • Provide exceptional patient care and education
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and control measures

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent and graduation from accredited radiologic technology program
  • ARRT certification in CT required and New Mexico State licenses required
  • New hires will be required to have ARRT certified in CT within 6 months of being hired if they have attended an accredited CT program
  • BLS certification issued through American Heart Association is required within one month of hire date
  • IV certification preferred
