About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at SICPA. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable applications in a microservice-based software framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable microservices architecture
  • Develop and maintain high-quality code using Java
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and design solutions
  • Apply agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software within established timelines
  • Work on packaging and automated deployment of software
  • Ensure optimal integration of other layers (UI, hardware devices, cloud server)
Requirements
  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Solid foundation in computer science theory
  • Proven experience as a Backend Developer with strong proficiency in Java
  • Experience in other functional or reactive programming is a plus
  • Familiar with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Selenium, and Karma
  • Familiar with the Linux environment, including shell scripting and software packaging
  • Experience in container technologies (Docker), data processing technologies (Spark or Hadoop), distributed streaming platforms (Kafka), and cluster management technologies (Kubernetes) is a plus
