As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in identifying, creating, analyzing, and preparing data required for modern Business Intelligence (BI) and Machine Learning (ML) solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Data Ingestion and Processing: Design and implement efficient data ingestion pipelines to collect and process large datasets from various sources.
- Data Transformation and Storage: Develop and manage data transformations using ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) and ELT (Extract, Load, Transform) processes, and design and manage data lakes architectures.
- Big Data Technologies: Work with Apache Hadoop projects (Spark, Hive, Pig, Oozie, Airflow, etc.) to design and implement scalable data processing solutions.
- BI Solution Integration: Integrate and test BI solutions, ensuring seamless data flow and optimal performance.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Create and document tests to meet requirements, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Cloud Data Services: Manage data cloud services, data access, security, and governance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Monitoring and Logging: Manage monitoring and logs of applications and services, ensuring optimal performance and data quality.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a Data Engineer role, with expertise in ETL, Big Data, data ingest, and data streaming.
- Cloud Experience: Experience working in Cloud environments (AWS) for at least 3 years.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, R, or other data processing tools.
- Language Skills: Upper/Advanced English Level.
- AWS Experience: Experience using AWS Data Services (Amazon Redshift, S3, AWS Glue, Athena, Sagemaker, etc.).
- DevOps Experience: Experience using DevOps tools (Git, pipelines).
- Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile Scrum team.
- Infrastructure as Code: Experience working with infrastructure as a code (Terraform, Cloudformation, etc.).
