Interior Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Interior Designer to join our team at IBI Group. As an Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating innovative and functional interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in interior design, with a focus on architectural interior design. You will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Design and develop interior spaces that meet the needs of our clients, including programming, space planning, material selections, and construction documents.
• Participate in the selection and presentation of furniture, furniture systems, fabrics, equipment, color palettes, and lighting.
• Meet with finish and furniture vendors to discuss design concepts and specifications.
• Participate in meetings and present design concepts to clients.
• Manage multiple projects to deliver all phases of the project, including design development, construction documents, and construction administration.
• Review preliminary space plans and design concepts to ensure code, accessibility, and functional requirements are met.
• Review shop drawings and submittals to ensure compliance with design intent and building codes.
• Produce innovative design concepts that meet the client and project needs while also respecting the project budget.
• Contribute to and develop solutions to technical and design problems.
• Conceptualize and describe design ideas through 3D visualization, including graphics.

• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design.
• 5-8 years' relevant interior design experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Proficiency in REVIT is required.
