As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy Python/Java microservices for data processing.
- Implement Big Data ETL code and pipelines using Python, Spark, and AWS.
- Ensure seamless integration of data projects into APIs.
- Audit, design, and maintain data pipelines throughout their lifecycle.
- Monitor and optimize existing data pipelines and services using cloud infrastructure.
- Navigate complex data stores.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project roadmaps and task lists.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years of experience in software/data engineering.
- Strong background in Python/Java with Cloud Development (AWS preferred).
- Practical knowledge of ETL pipelines and Apache Spark.
- Proficiency in Python automation libraries and test scripts.
- Expertise in API Design and development.
- Understanding of Microservice development principles.
- Familiarity with IAM roles/policies, AWS EC2, AWS SDK, AWS EMR, API Gateway, Docker.
- Bonus points - Familiarity with Databricks APIs, Terraform, and Airflow.
