KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the current IT asset management portfolio, which includes hardware, software, and cloud/SaaS resources.
- Ensure the curation of precise and comprehensive asset inventories while maintaining licensing compliance.
- Enhance and implement processes for asset utilization, reclaiming licenses, and product rationalization.
- Identify opportunities for ongoing improvement, automation, and self-service, leading initiatives to achieve these goals.
- Maintain metrics and reports to assess performance related to asset reporting and provide essential information to Technology management.
- Address assets that are absent from the Compliance inventory.
- Manage software and SaaS models within the asset management application (ServiceNow).
- Support software requests from the IT Service Management application (ServiceNow).
- Collaborate with and manage stakeholders within the Technology Governance team, other Technology teams involved in IT asset management, and various business units.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Exhibit strong analytical, problem-solving, professional skepticism, inquisitiveness, and business acumen.
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrate effective peer and stakeholder relationship management.
- Experience in contract negotiation and supplier management is preferred.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM) is required.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) is preferred.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow Cloud Cost Management or similar tools is preferred.
- Advanced skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) are required.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI is preferred.
