About the Role
- Lead and manage a team of international designers and art directors to create amazing work for top-tier brands. You'll be a pivotal voice in shaping the art– and design direction of our projects.
- Translate brand values, creative concepts, and user–stories into functional and expressive design solutions. Brief and review designers on producing these designs.
- Collaborate directly with clients and internal teams to push boundaries and deliver outstanding results.
- Employ your problem-solving skills and full stack of design solutions to guide projects and design teams from start to finish.
- Present and substantiate your work in person or through video calls during pitches and proposals, or during production. Direct prototypes and/or mockups of designs where needed.
- Have opinions and not be afraid to share them.
Requirements
- You're a natural design leader and teacher, with a proven track record for fostering, growing, educating, motivating, and retaining a team of creative designers and art directors.
- Prove your visual prowess through your online portfolio and relevant working experience of around 5 years across digital and art direction.
- Your curiosity drives you to learn and progress continuously. You love pushing the envelope personally and professionally.
- You value diversity and have strong social and communication skills that ensure you understand how colleagues and clients work and think.
- A feel for advertising politics and production pitfalls is essential.
- You possess a critical eye but are approachable. You know that a combination of praise and constructive feedback motivates people.
- You're confident in tackling high-end projects with colleagues and clients alike.
- Mastery of modern design and prototyping tools is required. You're organized and efficient, making life easier for your colleagues.
- You're mindful of time, budget, and schedule, ensuring each project is a success.
