We are seeking an experienced Operating Room Cleaner to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
As an OR Cleaner, you will perform terminal cleaning of OR rooms, disinfect floors, move equipment and furniture, and handle trash and waste disposal. You will also participate in regular housekeeping duties in non-patient OR areas, such as buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing floors.
To succeed in this role, you will need two years of housekeeping experience and completion of an OR certification program within 9 months of employment. Less than High School education is also required.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- Perform terminal cleaning of OR rooms.
- Disinfect floors, move equipment and furniture, and handle trash and waste disposal.
- Participate in regular housekeeping duties in non-patient OR areas.
