The Government Contracts and Subcontracts Administrator will be responsible for managing all aspects of government contracts, subcontracts, and commercial contract administration. This includes ensuring compliance with federal regulations, managing contract negotiations, and overseeing subcontractor performance.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the full lifecycle of government contracts, from proposal preparation and submission to contract closeout.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal regulations, including TINA, FAR, DFARS, CAS, and agency supplements.
- Review and negotiate terms and conditions, Nondisclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, License Agreements, etc. of contracts and subcontracts.
- Prepare and submit required reports, certifications, and other documentation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract files and records.
- Coordinate with internal departments, including finance, legal, and project management, to ensure contract requirements are met.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance, including conducting regular reviews and audits.
- Review subcontractor proposals and support source selection for managing suppliers and flow downs, and negotiate price, terms, deliverables, and schedule.
- Address and resolve any contract-related issues or disputes.
- Experience with a variety of contract types, such as IDIQs, T&M, Cost Plus, Fixed Price, OTAs, etc.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for contract and subcontract management.
- Stay current on changes to federal contracting laws and regulations and advise management on potential impacts.
- Strong knowledge of ITAR/EAR.
- Provide training and guidance to staff on government contracting requirements and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Contract Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in government contract and subcontract administration.
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and other federal contracting regulations.
- Experience with contract negotiation and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certified Federal Contracts Manager (CFCM) or similar certification is preferred.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government security clearance.
- Hearing and speaking to exchange information in person, on the telephone, or virtually.
- Dexterity of hands, fingers, and wrist to operate a computer keyboard, calculator, or assemble/manufacture intricate items.
- Seeing to read a variety of materials.
- Sitting or standing for extended periods.
- May need physical agility to lift 20 pounds to shoulder height.
- Physical agility to lift, carry, push, or pull objects.
Salary range for this position is $123,000.00 to $160,000.00 annually.
This is not a fully remote position.
