The Chevron Business Support Center (BASSC) is seeking applications for the role of SAP S4/HANA Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and Intelligent Asset Management (IAM) Functional Analyst (MDG). Successful candidates will be part of a dynamic multifunction service center, contributing to a team of over 1,000 professionals delivering business solutions globally.

We are in search of individuals with experience in application management and implementation of SAP (ECC or S4Hana), JDE, Infor EAM, Maximo, or other Plant Maintenance systems within the Enterprise Asset Management domain. You will be integrated into ERP scrum teams responsible for developing and maintaining SAP solutions while collaborating with various product teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct troubleshooting, analysis, coordination, and resolution of diverse production issues.
  • Work closely with Business Partners to gather and understand business requirements.
  • Analyze and comprehend SAP EAM and IAM capabilities to support critical asset maintenance business processes and KPIs.
  • Configure SAP EAM and IAM solutions to align with business needs or resolve issues.
  • Willingness to develop foundational technical skills in areas such as ABAP code analysis, SAP Security, continuous integration, or automation.
  • Collaborate with developers to design, code, and implement custom or complex solutions.
  • Analyze, devise, and execute system tests to validate the effectiveness of solutions.
  • Oversee the deployment of solutions into production environments.
  • Provide ad-hoc training and user support as necessary.
  • May serve as a subject matter mentor to junior team members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Extensive hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S4Hana), JDE, Infor EAM, Maximo, or other Plant Maintenance applications in the Enterprise Asset Management field.
  • Proficient in configuration based on functional expertise.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Customer-focused with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Self-motivated and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with ABAP debugging, code analysis, SAP Security, or SAP Integration is advantageous.

Relocation Options:

Relocation will not be considered.

International Considerations:

Expatriate assignments will not be considered.
