We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Hospitalist to lead our pediatric patient services team at Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata, Maryland.
Job Summary:- Lead a team of pediatric hospitalists providing medical services to newborns and infants.
- Collaborate with obstetricians to create a safe environment in the delivery room and provide neonatal services as needed.
- Consult with ED physicians regarding pediatric patients and create patient care plans daily.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Manage and supervise a team of pediatric hospitalists.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for pediatric patient care.
- Collaborate with obstetricians to ensure a safe environment in the delivery room.
- Consult with ED physicians regarding pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Board certification in Pediatrics from the American Board of Pediatrics.
- PALS and NRP certification.
- Active Maryland medical license.
- DEA License and state-controlled substance registration.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team.
