Laboratory Quality Assurance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Laboratory Analyst to join our team in Buenos Aires. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and compliance with our policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct physical-chemical, microbiological, and sensory analysis of raw materials, intermediate and finished products, environment, and packaging.
- Ensure all analyses are performed according to and meet Company specifications with integrity and objectivity.
- Make usage decisions (approval or rejection) over analyzed materials.
- Support the measurements follow-up to assure effective control of operational processes.
- Define necessary actions to demonstrate continuous improvement of operational processes and ensure a positive impact on Plant key indicators.
- Actively participate in preparing and implementing laboratory workstreams TIPs.
- Execute analytical activities in the Quality Control laboratory with a focus on waste reduction and process optimization according to the analytical planning.
- Observe behaviors compatible with Operational Excellence (OE) culture and comply with standards and guidance established by the Plant Management System.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement in GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), GLP (Good Laboratory Practices), and the Management System of the laboratory.
- Actively participate in and comply with the Laboratory Management System program (ISO).
- Perform calibration and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment and maintain results and dispositions registered in information systems on time.
- Monitor analytical results through Statistical Process Control (SPC) to identify trends and use statistical problem-solving tools effectively.
- Implement new methods of analysis validated and approved by Corporate.
- Conduct Shelf life extension processes according to Company requirements.
- Perform trainings according to the Skill Matrix and write, review, and perform work instructions of the Integrated Management System of the Laboratory.
- Support compliance with the Quality Assurance program of the Integrated Management System.
- Participate in sensory evaluation panels and maintain the Sensory Panel of the Plant according to Company requirements.
- Participate in department meetings, internal work teams, and necessary meetings to comply with Plant and global metrics.
- Perform internal audits of the Management System and prioritize product safety by maintaining personal hygiene, avoiding cross-contamination risks, and complying with FSSC 22000 risk analysis.
- Communicate identified situations that may impact safety and assume the OE Change Agent role during workstream and tool implementation.
- Degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a quality control or quality assurance role, preferably within the beverage or food industry.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of physical-chemical, microbiological, and sensory analysis.
