We are seeking a Board Eligible / Board Certified Family Medicine Physician to join our established practice in Santa Fe, New Mexico. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and a passion for providing exceptional patient care. In return, we offer a competitive salary, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and fully paid malpractice insurance.
Practice Highlights:
- Average 16-20 patients per day
- Practice call in rotation with the group; no ER call required
- RN/MA support and Patient Centered Medical Home Care team consisting of Clinical Pharmacists, Behavioral Health Clinicians, Case/Care Managers, APP support
Summary: The successful candidate will provide comprehensive medical care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses, leading and collaborating with a team of nurses, medical assistants, case managers, behavioral health clinicians, pharmacist clinicians, and clerical staff to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outpatient primary care services to patients with various medical conditions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and communications
- Order, conduct, and interpret diagnostic x-ray and lab tests as necessary
- Prescribe treatments, medications, and non-pharmacologic therapies tailored to individual patient needs
- Participate in education and counseling of individuals, families, and groups on healthy lifestyles and disease management
- Serve as a healthcare resource, interdisciplinary consultant, and patient advocate
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare providers and staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Credentials Required: MD/DO, Board Eligible or Certified in Family Medicine; State of New Mexico Medical License, DEA & NM Controlled Substance Registration
