As a Remote Landscape Designer, you will be responsible for creating unique outdoor spaces that meet the needs and vision of our clients. This involves collaborating with clients to develop landscape design plans, preparing design drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, ensuring all designs comply with local zoning and building codes, researching and selecting appropriate plants, trees, and materials, creating project budgets and timelines, and managing projects within those parameters.

Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with clients to develop landscape design plans that meet their needs and vision.
  2. Prepare design drawings using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software.
  3. Ensure all designs are compliant with local zoning and building codes.
  4. Research and select appropriate plants, trees, and materials for each project.
  5. Create project budgets and timelines and manage projects within those parameters.
  6. Supervise and inspect construction work to guarantee adherence to the design plan and quality standards.
  7. Provide excellent customer service to maintain client satisfaction and follow up with clients after project completion.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Landscape Design and/or Urban Design Background.
  • Proficient in using different design software to create mood boards, conceptual design presentations, marketing renderings, & marketing presentations.
  • Passion for biology, biodiversity, and permaculture.
  • Highly imaginative in presenting conceptual designs visually.
  • Fluent in English and good communication skills.
  • Previous experience working for companies in the US is welcome.
  • Understanding of Horticulture depending on different climate areas.
