Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Social Worker to join our team at DaVita Inc. In this vital role, you will be a part of a dynamic core care team that values work-life balance and prioritizes personal and professional growth.
As a Social Worker at DaVita, you will play a crucial role in supporting patients with End Stage Renal Disease (ESRD) as they navigate the challenges of life on dialysis. Your expertise in social work and clinical practice will enable you to advocate for patients' rights and responsibilities, helping them manage the physical, mental, emotional, and financial demands of ESRD.
About the Role
- You will build meaningful and long-term relationships with patients and their families in an intimate outpatient setting.
- You will be a part of a positive environment where teamwork is valued and supported.
- You will have opportunities for performance-based rewards based on your individual and team contributions.
Requirements
- You must meet all state required regulations to practice in the dialysis setting.
- You must possess a Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) with a specialization in clinical practice.
- You must demonstrate knowledge of government and private insurance programs.
- You must have basic computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, as well as functional proficiency with DaVita specific applications within 60 days.
