Accountant Specialist

Our company specializes in formulating, producing, and marketing gut, digestive, and microbiome health foods and natural supplements designed to help our clients achieve long-lasting positive health changes.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accountant Specialist to manage our financial transactions and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct ledger accounts
• Maintain and balance subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, and reconciling transactions
• Bring the books to the trial balance stage
• Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Manage payroll processing in a timely manner
• Complete tax forms and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive chart of accounts
• Monitor for variances from the projected budget and report significant issues to direct management
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
