The Opportunity
Due to internal promotions within our Aggregates team, we have an excellent opportunity for a new Quarry Manager to lead our operations at Kempsford Quarry near Swindon.
This Sand & Gravel Quarry operates Monday-Friday with an established operational team of eight members. You'll oversee the safe and efficient extraction of 200,000 tonnes per annum of material.
Key Responsibilities:- You will act as the Statutory 8.1(c) on site
- Lead a safe and sustainable work environment
- Help maintain the financial performance of the site in line with budget requirements
- Implement and ensure compliance of the company's health and safety rules, Quality assurance, and environmental policies
- Work strategically to ensure quarry operations are carried out in accordance with the quarry design plan
You'll possess a deep understanding of Quarry Regulations, Statutory Health & Safety, and Employment legislation.
A strong communicator with the ability to build effective working relations with internal and external stakeholders.
Pride in your organisation with demonstrable planning and delivery ability.
Financial acumen with previous exposure to budgets and holding financial responsibility.
