Project Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to join our team at DEPT. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing project execution, managing client relationships, and planning and organizing projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Agile ceremonies and define acceptance criteria to ensure projects align with client expectations.
  • Manage client relationships and internal teams, facilitating communication and decision-making across various functional groups.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, manage implementation and budget, and proactively address project issues.
  • Document project requirements and provide detailed guidance to developers, designers, and other creative teams.
  • Lead client and internal meetings to ensure everyone is aligned on project goals and progress.
  • Monitor progress and deliverables, ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline.
  • Translate business needs into actionable solutions and collaborate with clients to understand their objectives.
  • Facilitate testing and quality assurance processes to deliver high-quality projects that meet or exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a Creative Project Manager or a similar role with comparable skills.
  • Proven experience at an agency or in-house creative team as a Creative Project Manager or Project Manager handling creative projects.
  • Background working with creative directors, designers, copywriters, and other creative professionals.
  • Proficiency in project management and creative collaboration tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, with the ability to create clear and concise project briefs and status reports.
  • Proficiency in productivity and presentation tools, such as Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Basic understanding of creative production processes and the ability to manage timelines and resource allocation.
  • Strong client relationship management skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
  • Experience with Agile or adaptable project management methodologies and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
