Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Microbiologist Analyst to join our team at our Loma Hermosa, Buenos Aires facility. As a Microbiologist Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting microbiological tests and analyses to ensure the quality and safety of our products.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare materials for sampling and culture media.
- Operate laboratory equipment.
- Perform microbiological analyses, including control of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials, as well as environmental monitoring and trending.
- Anticipate the need for purchasing reagents and supplies.
- Collaborate with other departments, including validation, development, production, technical services, and quality assurance.
- Review and archive laboratory records and document test results.
- Assist in the development of operating procedures and analytical techniques related to laboratory activities.
- Report any results outside of specifications or anomalies that may impact product quality.
- Attend training sessions and meetings as required.
Requirements
- Technical skills: microbiological testing, control of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials, environmental monitoring, and trending.
- Behavioral skills: teamwork, integrity, results-oriented, and customer-focused.
- Education: degree in chemistry, pharmacy, biochemistry, or related field.
- Experience: at least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Language: technical proficiency in English.
