About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Risk & Controls Lead to join our team at Kubikware. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing risk and controls solutions, partnering with product teams to understand technical capabilities and roadmaps, and maintaining a thorough understanding of our IT controls and processes framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement risk and controls solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  2. Partner with product teams to understand key technical capabilities and roadmaps, and provide guidance on risk management best practices.
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of our IT controls and processes framework, and identify areas for improvement.
  4. Assess and quantify risk in the product portfolio, and implement modern controls to mitigate risk.
  5. Work with the CTC ISM to coordinate security and risk reduction of shared products, and evaluate new technology products.
  6. Define and drive a positive risk culture across the organization, whereby risk is embedded in how we operate.

Qualifications:

  • Strong written and oral executive-level communications skills with ability to communicate complex topics.
  • Cloud security and cloud architectures knowledge, as well as SaaS based product models and hosting solutions.
  • Good understanding of network architecture, design and security, and common threat vectors.
  • Foundational understanding of firewall security architectures and endpoint devices, and external threat vectors.
  • Working knowledge of operating systems and OS level security.
  • Solid understanding of business and technical resiliency.
  • Ability to partner with a broad cross-functional stakeholder base on projects and influence any level of leadership.
  • High level of attention to detail and quality of work products.
  • Strong analytical skills.
