About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Wakapi. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated infrastructure solutions on AWS CloudFormation, ensuring the security and health of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and build scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation
  • Develop and implement security measures across infrastructure and processes to protect our products
  • Create and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipelines to streamline our software development process
  • Automate build processes, environment setups, testing scripts, deployments, and monitoring of staging and production environments
  • Ensure the quality of our products through functional, performance, security, and other testing
  • Write technical documentation and design documents to support our development process

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar position
  • Proven expertise in AWS CloudFormation and Azure
  • Hands-on experience with Serverless framework, AWS-Lambda, and Python Flask app deployment is a plus
  • Experience with Agile software development process is a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Creative, detail-oriented, and well-organized
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Confident and takes ownership of tasks to support the team
