Job SummaryWe're seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you'll be responsible for leading our accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local regulations, and driving continuous improvement in our financial operations.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with external BPO and tax providers to ensure compliance with Argentina, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico tax and accounting requirements.
- Review and maintain procedures for SOX defined controls, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of US Tax team requests and perform journal entries, including overhead allocation, fixed assets activities, depreciation, payroll, T&E, and commissions accounting.
- Review actuals variances analysis and explanation, and provide ad-hoc analysis to business partners as needed.
- First-hand experience as an auditor in a Big Four firm and accountant in a multinational company.
- Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP, with experience in ERP systems, particularly Oracle Financials and Hyperion.
- Familiarity with SOX compliance and other country equivalents.
- Results-driven, great team player, willing to work in a fast-growing and ambitious environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Ability to motivate change and respond quickly to various requests.
- English language proficiency, both spoken and written.
