Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead to lead our Machine Learning Research team, focusing on developing AI-powered security solutions for our flagship product, hCaptcha. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the research roadmap, overseeing project execution, and mentoring team members to ensure their growth and happiness.
Key Responsibilities- Team Leadership: Lead a team of 4+ Machine Learning Researchers, guiding them in building AI solutions that support our security-related products.
- Project Execution: Oversee the delivery of research projects, collaborating closely with the tech lead, product manager, project manager, and engineering counterparts.
- Technical Decision-Making: Participate in architectural, design, and technical decisions, ensuring the correctness and quality of our solutions.
- Code Review and Mentorship: Conduct code reviews, participate in PRs, and mentor team members to ensure their growth and happiness.
- Strong ML Background: Extensive experience in exploring data, designing features, training and validating models, and deploying and monitoring models in production.
- Results-Oriented: Motivated to achieve results and perform impactful work.
- Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager, driving the execution and delivery of projects.
- Methodical and Detail-Oriented: Capable of taking ownership of large projects involving multiple teams.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal, intercultural, and communication skills.
We utilize a range of technologies, including Python, Kubernetes, PySpark, Cloud Services like Azure or AWS, Clickhouse, Argo, and Kafka.
