Transportation Specialist

We're looking for an experienced Transportation Specialist to join our team at Solvo Solutions LLC.

As a Transportation Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations in coordinating our logistics and transportation activities.

• Route Coordination: Plan and assign routes and tasks to drivers and field personnel, ensuring optimal resource utilization and efficiency in deliveries.
• Communication: Maintain constant communication with drivers and other operational teams to resolve issues, coordinate last-minute changes, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any incidents or issues that arise during transportation, including delays, route changes, and emergencies.
• Documentation: Record and update relevant delivery information, including schedules, delivery statuses, and any incidents.
• Operation Monitoring: Use transportation management systems and technological tools to monitor delivery progress and vehicle status in real time.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Management: Manage the movement of vehicles and field personnel to ensure timely and effective deliveries and operations.
• Schedule Management: Plan and manage schedules for drivers and field personnel to ensure optimal resource utilization and efficiency in deliveries.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other operational teams to resolve issues, coordinate last-minute changes, and ensure adherence to schedules.
• Incident Resolution: Address and resolve any incidents or issues that arise during transportation, including delays, route changes, and emergencies.
