About the Role:

The Pharmacist Clinician will be responsible for evaluating patient conditions, gathering data, and ordering diagnostic tests and therapies as needed. You will also develop and implement treatment plans, communicate with patients and healthcare staff, and stay current on disease management protocols and best practices in clinical pharmacy.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a Doctor of Pharmacy degree.
  • Licensed Registered Pharmacist (RPh) in the State of New Mexico.
  • Licensed Pharmacist Clinician (PhC) by the New Mexico Board of Pharmacy.
  • Certified in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS).
  • Advanced training/certification in anticoagulation and/or disease management.

Physical Demands:

This position requires strong physical abilities, including the ability to lift up to 20 pounds, bend, stoop, and move around the clinic as needed. You may be exposed to physical injury, toxic substances, infectious diseases, and bloodborne pathogens.
