Strategic Sales Director for Logistics and Transportation

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commercial Manager(Freight Forwarding) to join our team at Remote People.
Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Territory Management: Direct and coordinate all sales activities locally, ensuring alignment with business objectives and identifying new opportunities for growth.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and dealers, providing exceptional service and support.
- Business Planning: Prepare and manage sales budgets, projections, and expenditures, ensuring effective resource allocation and ROI optimization.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze sales statistics, track performance metrics, and make informed decisions to drive business results.
- Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activity, and emerging markets, identifying opportunities for expansion and growth.
- Communication and Collaboration: Serve as the face of the organization, fostering strong relationships with internal and external partners, and coordinating with other departments to achieve common goals.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field
- Experience: Minimum 10 years' experience in container liner/shipping industry
- Skills: Strong communication skills, English fluency, and excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
