Job Summary
The Sr. Financial Analyst, Media & Content Finance will serve as a member of the corporate financial team, providing financial support to the SVP, Media & Content and other stakeholders throughout the organization. This position reports directly to the Manager, Media & Content Finance.
This role involves delivering value-added business analyses and reporting insightful financial and operational metrics that lead to sound business decision-making. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive understanding of all key business drivers and creating financial models that enable the team to deliver meaningful analyses across the company.
The specific priorities for this role include:
- Contribute to the planning processes for Media & Content efficiently and effectively by ensuring comprehensiveness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages that provide value-added insight into the business, including Monthly Results Reviews, Business Reviews, Customer P&Ls, analysis of key business trends, and actual versus budget variance explanations.
- Prepare analysis, commentary, and presentation materials for monthly and quarterly financial review meetings.
- Maintain relationships with FP&A and Media & Content commercial and operations teams to ensure quality deliverables and proper information flow.
- Work closely with accounting group to ensure appropriate reporting on U.S. GAAP basis.
- Provide technical financial advice and knowledge to others within the Finance function.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting required.
- 3-5 years of finance experience, with an emphasis in complex organizations.
- Advanced Excel skills required.
- Upper intermediate English level required.
- Experience with Hyperion and Oracle preferred.
- Proven track record of delivering on commitments and working effectively with peers inside and outside of Finance.
- Ability to develop detailed operational plans.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills; Strong critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively collaborate with others at all organizational levels.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- High level of professionalism, presence, and poise.
- Ability to create highly professional and effective presentations for senior leadership.
