Quality Assurance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join our team at Sovos Compliance. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test plans and cases with intent for automation.
- Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct exploratory, regression, and performance testing to identify defects and ensure the quality of our products.
- Defect Management: Identify and document defects using tracking tools and work closely with the development team to resolve issues.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement areas of improvement regarding testing concepts and best practices.
- Automation and Integration: Work closely with the DevOps team to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and design and execute performance tests to assess system performance and scalability.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize clean-code best practices with all automation and write different types of automated tests, including unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests.
- Education: Technical Bachelor's degree.
- Experience: 4-7 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Skills: Strong analytical problem-solving skills with a focus on user experience, expertise with automated frameworks like Robot Framework, Cypress, and PlayWright, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Java, and JavaScript.
- Tools and Technologies: Expertise with databases, knowledge of Docker, and strong understanding of Azure pipeline and CI/CD pipelines.
- Performance Testing: Proven experience in designing and executing performance tests using tools like JMeter and K6.
