**Job Summary**/Summary description**:
This position manages the local business as well as the plant with direct responsibility for comercial, production, quality, local procurement, logistics, human resources as well as development projects as appropriate. Ensuring further development of local business in coordination with headquarters.

**Main Attributions**:
**Strategy and planning**

**Strategy**: Co-design of general strategy as well as translation and securing the operative implementation of general strategies against the background of local and/or business unit-specific conditions.

**Standards and Policies**: Strategic-tactical: solution of complex issues, by analysis, interpretation, evaluation. This require constructive, innovative thinking as well as the ability to make sound judgments.

**Planning**: Medium-term planning horizon reviewing of achievements periodically.

**Budget**: Planning, negotiation and securing of budget monitoring (volume, time, resources)

**Representative Operational/Functional Activities**

**Production**: Securing economic, efficient and timely production of products or processes according to the quantities and deadlines agreed upon with customers as well as in accordance with the specifications and standards of the relevant product ranges.

**Quality**: Securing local quality management as well as local quality assurance for products at the production site in accordance with the requirements of the product ranges.

**Sales and Marketing**: Securing attendance and support to local customers in accordance with requirements from the business units.

**Purchasing & Logistics**: Securing the development of local suppliers in accordance with general requirements of strategic purchasing, the implementation of operative purchase activities considering existing framework agreements as well as logistic activities.

**Finance**: Securing proper financial accounting in accordance with group policies and national laws.

**Human Resources**: Securing proper Human Resources management in accordance with the strategy group policies and legal frame.

**Locational Development**: Securing the implementation of development projects in coordination with central R&D units. Elaboration of conceptions for the further development of the production site in coordination with the superior level; preparation of investment plans as well as implementation of approved investments at the production site.

**Management and organization**

**Management Complexity**: Leadership of a widely homogeneous sub-structure and initiation of decision-making for compromises with other functionalities and division in case of time, priority and procedural conflicts. External coordination with other functionalities and divisions.

**Personnel Management**: Disciplinary leadership (directly and indirectly). Leadership, motivation and development of direct line staff. Decisions on individual personnel measures in cooperation with the people manager.

**Projects**: Securing, coordination and leadership of projects.
