**The team you'll be part of**

NI (Network Infrastructure) Americas Business Operation within the RBC (Regional Business Center) IP & ON.

In particular, you will be focused on the commercial offers of Optics (DWDM) technology to our clients.

We practically interact with all sectors of Nokia.
It is a challenging job with a lot of responsibility.

The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.

**What you will learn and contribute to**

Our daily activity is precisely to prepare the commercial offers.

For this we must complete the responses to the client's requirements with the pertinent clarifications; verify the Terms and Conditions so that they are as close as possible to Nokia's standard models; estimate all the costs of the requirement and then calculate the price and then elaborate the P&L.
Of course, we have the help of all support sectors.
If our solution is finally chosen (the offer is won), we must prepare all the back-up information to transfer to the post-sale areas.

As part of our team, you will:

- learn about DWDM technology that you will focus on.
- have to understand and interpret our clients' requirements (RFP/RFQ) in order to make the best technical and commercial offers.
- have to calculate the cost and price not only of the HW/SW part of the Nokia product, but also of all the services involved such as installation, start-up, training, post-sale services and others.
- describe the proposed solution.
- archive all supporting information.
- defend the solution
- transfer the work to the Post Sale areas
- have the support of all Support Sectors within Nokia.
- learn to use the specific tools.

**Your skills and experience**

We are looking for a young professional or student close to graduating in Telecommunications Engineering, or Electronics with a focus on Telecommunications or similar fields.
Ideally with knowledge in DWDM transport technologies.

You must have:

- an advanced use of Microsoft Office tools, mainly Excel,
- knowledge in Optical "transport" Technology: DWDM and SDH,
- Ideally with knowledge of networks and IP solutions.
- a Commercial & Technical Profile

It would be nice if you also had:

- mínimal experience in manpower cost estimate
