**The position**:
Act as focal point in the area of Cost and Profitability Accounting with focus on LATAM Region.
- Execution of the month-end and year-end closing activities in close cooperation with global and local operating units.
- Contact person for requests coming from subsidiaries.
- Support continuous internal process improvements to enhance overall department's effectiveness.
**Tasks and responsibilities**:
- Ensures compliance of all Cost and Profitability Accounting processes.
- Maintenance of cost object master data (cost centers, orders, project, hierachies).
- Preparation of special analysis and ad-hoc reports related to Cost and Profitability Accounting areas.
- Update documentation for country specifics whenever there are processes that differ from the service center template and align with supervisor.
- Handling and improvement of diverse ERP-systems and linked financial tools (RUNBOOK, PRISMA, etc.)
- Responsible for following current area
- and corporate procedures and guidelines, related to Finance.
**Requirements**:
- At least 2 year of experience in related areas.
- Professional know-how in Excel, PowerPoint (pivot tables, VLookup).
- Knowledge in Accounting to report (or similar).
- Excellent English skills and Spanish, skills of other languages of the region are an asset.
- Knowdledge in SAP/ERP MM, FI, SD, and CO (preferably SAP HANA).
