CNC Machinist

**Role Summary**:
The Machining Operator must have knowledge of the operation and be able to operate the assigned machine: HAAS Machining Center.

It is responsable for complying with the conditions that CNC required in the drawings provided by design engineering and to comply with the worksheet sequences, and company instructions/procedures.

**Responsibilities & Requirements**: The CNC Machining Center Operator is responsible for meeting the efficiencies and productivity of assigned work.

He/she must meet the stated productivity: efficiency of assigned work and utilization of productive time; and

ensure the quality of the work delivered to Quality Control.

Aspects related to safety and quality:

- Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition: 6S in the workplace.
- Participate and comply with all safety and quality standards and training.
- Ensure compliance with Quality Management System guidelines.
- Notification of quality deviations.

**Requirements**:

- Completed High School.
- Experience working with CNC machining center for at least 2 years.
- Knowledge of HAAS
- Reading and interpretation of machining drawings
- Use of measuring and precision instruments (caliper measuring, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.)
- Knowledge of handling machine tools (Machining Centers - CNC Milling Machine/ HAAS-CNC).
- Knowledge of the use of measuring instruments.

**Preferred Experience / Skills**: - Secondary and/or tertiary education with technical orientation, such as Mechanical Technician, Electromechanical Technician, Electromechanical Equipment and Installations Technician, Welding Technician.
- CNC lathe operator
- Experience in metal-mechanic companies or centers with machining centers.
