**Primary Activities**: The FInancial Controller's main responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Responsible for accurate and compliant results in the Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay legal entities for US GAAP, local Accounting & Tax standards

Manage and develop AtR team to ensure objectives achievement, continuity of processes and succession planning

Establish local statutory accounting policy

Establish & manage methodology & GL accounts structure for US GAAP, statutory & tax accounting

Establish & manage transfer pricing set-up & documentation

Establish & manage Actual Cost Accounting

Monitoring of legislation changes as an example but no limited to: Tax, Exchange Controls, Transfer Pricing, Information reporting to governmental agencies, and ensure timely implementation as well as required changes in SAP and accounting processes

Preparing and closing of books on a monthly basis

Timely submission of statutory & tax reporting in local tax authorities in accordance with legislation

Ensure appropriate archiving of all hard copy documents incl reporting forms to ensure compliance with local legislation

Making decisions on statutory and tax related processes, policies, and procedures

Managing all types of issues in statutory and tax areas as well as GAAP reporting

Interface with OtC and PtP teams managing impacts on financial books

Perform & Control Balances Sheet Reconciliation

Ongoing process optimization

Support of new system implementations

Fixed Assets Accounting (GAAP, Statutory & Tax), Direct / Indirect Asset Capitalization, Value & Track of Fixed Assets, Perform Asset Disposals, Obligatory physical inventory counting & tagging.

**Background Requirements and Qualifications**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Minimum 7 years in relevant roles, ideally within multinational companies, having been in multiple roles within the team and not only in a linear development.

Strong knowledge of Statutory and Tax legislation, transfer pricing, financial processes, accounting, corporate governance procedures, such as SOX, US GAAP and internal controls

Knowledge of Central Bank foreign exchange regulation

Experience & knowledge of SAP system

Advanced MS Office user (incl Excel & Power Point)

English language (advanced)
