Application Architect

**Introduction**
As a Strategy Consultant at IBM, you will help reinvent businesses and industries by developing and utilizing specialized knowledge of industry-specific and cross-industry competitive strategies. You'll manage complex components of an engagement, working closely with clients and their customers to understand their pain points. Your strategic recommendations will drive change in a digitally-enabled era and give you the opportunity to collaborate with highly talented IBMers. Are you ready?

**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Application Architect with 3 to 5 years of experience in the position. With experience in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.
- Propose all the technology in projects from small to large scale.
- Monitoring of the quality of the codes, that the code is cross platform, reusable and testable, and code review.
- Proposes metrics and establishes the objectives of the projects.
- Actively shares knowledge through peer consultation, conducts training (in-house courses) on specific technologies.
- Collection of project metrics, their analysis and use to improve both efficiency and quality.
- Review of dependencies and critical paths of internal and external projects. Ensure contingency plans are in place.
- Recommend solutions and approve plans and schedules.
- Identifies gaps in plans. Validate engineering project plans. Give solutions and instructions for difficult problems.

**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#,.NET, Java).
- Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods.
- Be familiar with Angular, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and UI/UX design.

**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- Knowledge of the principles of software quality control.
- Technical mindset and great attention to detail.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
